Burns Alert Lamb & Brown Rice Dog Food is a hypoallergenic complete food that contains no dairy, wheat, soya or beef and contains a minimum 21% new zealand lamb that has not been intensively reared. Burns Alert has been formulated to meet the nutritional demands of a working dog where mental alertness is required and low or moderate physical activity is the norm.

For instance most working dogs used by the police, military or farmers have prolonged periods of reduced physical activity, punctuated by short episodes of vigorous activity, for them a low energy diet is more suitable.

Burns Alert is very similar to the normal burns lamb & brown rice dog food, with 18.5% protein and is Vat Free, with a few additional supplements such as green tea extract, grapeseed extract and fish oil to improve alertness!

Just like burns lamb and brown rice, the alert recipe has been formulated for adult and senior dogs, is low in fat and protein, but high in complex carbohydrates that contains a single meat protein source, lamb meal which is simply lamb meat from non intensively farmed sources with all the water removed, to help those dogs with specific dietary requirements or sensitivities to avoid certain forms of protein.
