Peanut Granules are bite size pieces of peanut that are attractive to all wild birds that visit your garden, including the smaller bird varieties who will find it more easy to eat and digest in comparison to whole peanuts, now available in economical 25kg sacks, with free delivery excluding scottish highlands and islands.
Peanut Granules also known as peanut nibs, kibbled peanuts, peanut hearts or peanut chips are high in calories, high in energy and rich in fibre and fat just like whole peanuts or splits, but can be fed from a seed feeder, wild bird table or ground feeder, then mixed with your favourite wild bird mix or straight such as sunflower hearts to create your own designer wild bird food!
Why not create your own high energy wild bird food, by mixing together peanut granules, sunflower hearts, suet pellets and mealworms to attract a large variety of wild birds into your garden, including the smaller bird species that will find it easy to swallow the bite sized pieces of peanut granules, suet pellets, mealworms and sunflower hearts?
Feeding peanut granules will allow all your garden birds to enjoy them, including blackbirds, dunnocks, robins, nuthatches and tits, not just the larger wild bird species that can intimidate the smaller weaker birds, whilst they break whole peanuts into bite sized pieces.
Peanut granules are a valuable food source for wild birds that can be fed all year round, but particularly between April and September when fledglings are around, that are safer to feed than whole peanuts which both fledglings and small birds can choke on, especially if they are not fed from a suitable peanut feeder with small mesh holes!
Unlike whole nuts, peanut granules don't have the thin protective layer around them, making them more exposed to outside weather conditions, so we always suggest to customers to refill feeders only when their birds have eaten all the granules to help ensure the peanuts are always fresh in taste and appearance.
Lastly all the peanut varieties we sell, including peanut granules, whole peanuts, monkey nuts and peanut splits are Grade 1, Aflotoxin Tested Safe Nuts for the safety and welfare of your birds.
