The Wild Bird Food Spring & Summer Mix, is a high energy husk free wild bird seed that has been formulated for the start of spring, which oddly enough is a difficult and demanding time for many wild birds, as the worst of winter is over, but many birds are left feeling tired and lacking needed energy.

The wild birds that visit your garden have to build up their strength, build a nest and get into good breeding condition, so they can produce and rear strong healthy chicks. The spring and summer mix contains high energy ingredients for hard working adult birds, with the right minerals, trace elements and proteins for high quality egg production, skeletal and tissue growth in fledglings and strong immune system.

The wild bird food is flavoured with aniseed, which is not only a digestive aid, but is also an attractant so adult birds will find the seed more easily, and fledglings will be encouraged to forage for food themselves. The wild bird seed is also husk free so there's less mess and no waste, but this also means that birds can feed with the minimal amount of effort.

The seed can be fed from a tubular feeder, on a bird table or simply on a ground feeding area.
