The Silver Birch Nesting Tit Box designed by wildlife world is very attractive and natural, made from a silver birch log that has been specially rebuilt to prevent splitting. The thick sides of the nesting box provide excellent insulation for wild birds and the natural appearance allows the tit nest box to blend in with ornamental or woodland gardens.

Made from durable FSC certified timber, the nest box requires no maintenance, but if you want to preserve the natural colour of the nesting tit box you can always coat the exterior of the box with a water based stain or varnish without causing any health problems for wild birds that visit your garden.

To clean or inspect the nesting box, remove one screw and swivel the lid to one side. The wildlife world nesting tit box should be positioned 1.5 - 2m off the ground on a tree, wall or fence secure from predators and positioned ideally facing between north and south east, away from feeding areas and is is approximately 22 cm high x 20 cm wide x 21 cm depth.
