With the cooper hole protector on, the forest nesting box is suitable for Bluetits, Coaltits, Marshtits or Wrens, but if you remove the cooper hole protector the entrance hole becomes suitable for Great Tits, Sparrows & Greenfinches.
You can also remove the entire face panel, by unscrewing two screws to create an open fronted nesting box that will be suitable for Robins, Wagtails or Spotted Flycatchers. The nesting box should be positioned 1.2 - 2.5m from the ground on a tree, wall or fence secure from predators away from feeding areas, ideally facing between north and south east and is is approximately 24.5cm high x 24.7cm wide x 15.5cm depth.
