Arden Grange Puppy Junior Chicken and Rice uses chicken oil as the primary fat source as it's easily digested by most puppies and perfect for fussy eaters.

Arden grange puppy junior should be fed from 8 weeks of age to 9 months approximately for medium breed puppies, but is also suitable for larger breed puppies with low appetites as it's higher in protein, making the food ideal for fussy eaters. Arden grange puppy is also suitable for pregnant or lactating bitches that require a food that's energy dense and highly digestible to give them the energy and nutrition to raise healthy puppies.
The puppy food can also be used as a weaning feed by soaking the kibbles with warm water and then mixing the food to form a smooth porridge, but you may have to add more warm water to achieve the right consistency for lapping. Like all arden grange adult dog foods the small and medium puppy junior food contains prebiotics to help remove harmful bacteria thereby reducing digestive upsets, whilst the inclusion of nucleotides maximises the digestion of the energy dense food in the gut, allowing optimum levels of nutrients to be absorbed by your puppy.
All arden grange puppy foods, including the small and medium variety have been formulated to be highly digestible and sensitive to help your puppy's immature digestive system, so that it's not over worked processing large quantities of food using extremely palatable ingredients for instance fresh chicken, chicken meal and egg that are easy to metabolise to help support the healthy development and growth of your puppy.
Arden grange puppy food is also hypoallergenic and free from wheat gluten, dairy products, beef, soya as well as artificial colourings, flavourings and preservatives to avoid adverse food reactions.
The symptoms of food allergies vary from digestive disorders to skin complaints, but feeding your puppy a hypoallergenic food is less likely to trigger an adverse food reaction than non-hypoallergenic, meat derivative based foods that may contain artificial colours and flavours.
