Arden Grange Tasty Turkey Paste is a highly palatable complimentary treat, that's a delicious paste made from fresh Turkey, that's supplied in a handy 75g tube and suitable for both cats and dogs, the use of which was featured on an episode of Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly with dog trainer Graeme Hall.
The irresistible turkey paste is completely grain free and hypoallergenic and contains NO artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives, it's also free from wheat gluten, dairy, beef and soya, making it suitable for dogs and cats with food sensitivities and intolerances, reducing the risk of an allergic response.
The tureky paste can be used as dog training treat or reward in positive reinforcement training, but also importantly as a boredom breaker as the paste can be stuffed inside hollow rubber toys such as a Kong or natural chews like a shank bone.
It's also great for hiding or masking the smell of medication and can be used to coat a tablet with tasty turkey or mixed with a crushed tablet and added to liquid medications on a dish.
Both fresh turkey and rapeseed oil are used in combination to create a paste, that's highly palatability and the correct consistency for squeezing. Rapeseed also has the added benefit that it's a good source of essential fatty acids and vitamin E.
