Insect Suet Pellets are delicious, easy to digest and packed full of energy with added dried water flies to make the insect pellets highly nutritious, that are suitable for all wild birds including young and adult birds. The yellow insect pellets are perfect for attracting colourful songbirds, robins, blue tits, thrushes, nuthatches, blackbirds and woodpeckers into your garden that eat garden insects and pests such as caterpillars, aphids, beetles, spiders, flies and moths, that crumble easily making them fledgling safe.
We recommend suet pellets be fed all year round, especially during the breeding season and in winter when food is scarce and can be mixed with your favourite wild bird seed, poured into a mesh feeder or simply scattered on a bird table. We've recently changed the size of the unipet insect pellets from 12.5kg to 12.75kg as the bulk bags are VAT FREE saving you money!
The suet to go insect pellets made by Unipet are created by grinding dried water flies into a fine powder, that makes the casing and body parts of the insect not visible to the naked eye, then blending the powder with suet and starch to create the high energy pellets.
Suet pellets are ideal for those wild birds that have difficulty eating suet treats such as cakes, blocks and candles as the pellets are bite sized, soft in texture and extremely palatable, so there is little or no wastage.
Insect suet pellets provide insectivorous proteins and increase energy levels helping adult birds during the breeding season to provide essential insectivorous protein for fledgling growth and help maintain energy levels during the cold winter months.
Suet is one of the most concentrated easily metabolised high energy foods available for wild birds, that is manufactured using pure refined animal or vegetable fat, which is then mixed with various ingredients such as mealworms, insects, fruit, seed, peanuts and berries to produce delicious suet pellets your wild birds will love!
Lastly we only to stock suet to go insect pellets as birds love the quality, taste and texture of the bite sized pellets. The suet is not too crumbly or too hard and no excessive heat or pressure is used to create them, so none of the tasty goodness is lost, that's why birds are so attracted to them.
